9. Are your products compliant with U.S. regulations?
Yes. All products comply with:
-
16 CFR Part 1610 (flammability of clothing textiles) – Class 1 (normal flammability) for swimsuits and beach dresses. Swimwear is exempt from 16 CFR 1610 testing if it meets the “tight‑fitting” exemption (garment has a stretched dimension ≤15 inches at the chest/bust). We label exemptions accordingly.
-
FTC Textile Fiber Products Identification Act (15 U.S.C. § 70) – fiber content, country of origin, manufacturer RN.
-
FTC Care Labeling Rule (16 CFR Part 423) – permanent care instructions attached.
-
CPSIA – for children‘s swimwear (sizes 0‑12), lead (<100 ppm), phthalates (<0.1%), tracking labels per 16 CFR Part 1130.
Important swimwear exemption: Tight‑fitting swimwear that meets the dimensional criteria in 16 CFR 1610.1(d)(4) is exempt from flammability testing because the tight fit limits air availability to support combustion. We clearly label any exempt garment with a permanent label stating “NOT FLAMMABLE – TIGHT FITTING GARMENT” per the regulation. Garments that do not meet the exemption undergo Class 1 testing.
10. What is California Proposition 65?
Some products may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm (e.g., certain dyes, plastic components in flip‑flops). When applicable, a Proposition 65 warning is displayed on product pages and packaging.
11. What is the difference between “FLAMMABLE” labeling?
If a textile garment fails Class 1 flammability testing but is not exempt, it would be labeled “FLAMMABLE (FAILS U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE STANDARD)” . Our products are Class 1 or exempt, and do not carry such a label.
12. What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay.
